I am a native Texan. I was born in Houston and raised in Garland, Texas. I graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in 1985. I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1987. I spent 8 years in the Marine Corps. While in the Marines I learned several valuable leadership characteristics. In 1990-1991 I faced the biggest challenge of my life up to that point. The Middle East was calling and the Marine Corps answered. Off to Saudi Arabia I went. Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm was underway. I participated in both operations and returned to the states in June 1991. I completed my enlistment and was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 1995.
I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995. I majored in Criminal Justice. My goal at that time was to become a Police Officer. In 2000 I fulfilled that goal and started a career in law enforcement. For the next 12 years I worked as a Police Officer in North Texas. During those 12 years I promoted all the way to interim Chief.
In 2012 I made the decision to step down and pursue a personal interest. I wanted to begin a career in the Home Inspection industry. I have always enjoyed helping people. Home Inspections is another way to do that.
I met my wonderful wife Cynthia in 2002. We have two wonderful kids. We live in the North Texas area. I found myself spending more and more time away from my family while working in law enforcement. I decided family was more important. In the fall of 2012 I resigned from my Patrol Sergeant position to pursue a Professional Home Inspector license. In 2013 I completed the Professional Home Inspection course offered by the American Home Inspection Training Institute. Shortly after I received my license #20703 from the Texas Real Estate Commission as a Professional Home Inspector. I started my business and began performing home inspections.
In the spring of 2014 I was given another opportunity to work in law enforcement. In 2017 I was appointed Chief of Police.
My hobbies include drag racing, fishing and spending time with my family.
I look forward to meeting your home inspection needs. I look forward to helping you with one of the most important decisions in your life, buying or selling your home.
